If you're looking for pet-friendly options in the area, we have a few recommendations. You can check out Three Bridges and Sleepers, which are both restaurants that welcome your furry friends. Another dog-friendly spot is the Unleashed Dog Park at the Bosveld Centre. As we are located in the greater Kruger area, pet-friendly places may be limited, but we hope these suggestions offer some options for you and your beloved pets.
PET POLICY
All dog breeds are welcome free of charge but dog owners must bring their own dog food, bowls, and blankets. In public areas, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and they are not allowed to roam outside the lodge area. Pet owners will have separate game drives from non-pet owners and dogs are only allowed on the Maroelani game drives, which do not include big five.
Only well-behaved and socialised dogs are allowed. Owners will be charged for any damage caused by their dogs, such as linen damage. All breeds are allowed, but a maximum of four dogs are permitted. We kindly remind owners that their dogs should not bark or bite staff and other guests as this may result in being asked to leave without a refund.
