Pet-Friendly Policy for Fernhill Guest Farm
Fernhill Guest Farm is proudly pet friendly and welcomes up to 4 dogs per booking of any size or breed. Each cottage has its own fully fenced garden, and well-socialised dogs are welcome to explore the farm’s walking trails and dam. Dogs must:
- Be socialised and used to farm animals
- Be kept off furniture and beds
- Sleep inside the cottage at night
- Not bark excessively, due to the proximity of other cottages
- Not be left unattended
- Be treated for ticks and fleas before arrival
Please bring your own pet bedding and bowls. A pet fee of R150 for the first dog and R50 per additional dog applies.

PET POLICY
Fernhill Guest Farm warmly welcomes up to four well-socialised dogs per booking, regardless of size or breed. Each cottage has a fully fenced garden for safe off-leash play, and there's a dam on the farm where dogs can swim. Dogs must be kept off furniture and beds, sleep indoors, and never be left unattended. Due to nearby livestock and wildlife, dogs should be calm, socialised, and under control at all times. Please bring your own pet bedding and bowls, and ensure your dogs are treated for ticks and fleas before arrival. A pet fee of R150 for the first dog and R50 per additional dog applies.
