We have pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating areas within walking distance of our Guesthouse. Guests enjoy going for runs in the early morning or taking their pets on evening walks to these restaurants. Additionally, we offer discount vouchers for most activities in and around town. We are more than happy to provide information on nearby restaurants, activities, attractions, pet-friendly hiking trails, and pet-friendly guided tours.
Just a few meters away from De Akker Guesthouse, there is a beautiful historic suspension bridge that crosses a river and offers a lovely grassy area for your pets to frolic and play.
PET POLICY
At De Akker Guesthouse, we understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family. That's why we've made it easy for your furry friend to travel with you, providing all the home comforts they need. Plus, our pet fee per night is absolutely free of charge! We happily accommodate pets of all sizes and kindly ask that they be fully trained and leashed in public areas (excluding the guest's room). Please note that pets are not allowed in the breakfast room, but they are more than welcome to enjoy the pool and garden area. The responsibility for pet amenities and clean-up rests with the owner. Guests are kindly asked to minimize disturbances such as excessive barking, and they are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pet. Service animals accompanying guests with disabilities are always welcome. Please note that luxury rooms 1, 2, and 3 are reserved exclusively for small dogs.
