These thatch-roofed cottages are within walking distance of safe, child-friendly beaches, as well as the famous Waenhuiskrans cave. The cottages are serviced daily, allowing you to live the relaxed lifestyle of Arniston, voted ‘One of the World’s Best Hideaways’ by Time Magazine. There is plenty to do, from rewarding walks and bicycle rides to swimming, fishing and snorkelling on the unspoilt coastline. Here Mother Nature ensures that you get away from it all.

The cottages are within walking distance of safe, child-friendly beaches, perfect for swimming or a leisurely stroll. There are spectacular hiking and bicycle trails in the surrounding area, including trails to the famous Waenhuiskrans Cave, shell middens, Arniston monument, and the Baken.
Off-site Pet-Friendly attractions
There is a nearby harbour where you can watch the local fishing boats come and go, and nearby Kassiesbaai is a Grade One Heritage Site fishing village. There is also whale watching to be enjoyed at certain times of year. The De Mond and De Hoop nature reserves are just a short drive away, and Cape Agulhas makes for an excellent day trip from the cottages. The nearby town of Bredasdorp has an interesting shipwreck museum among other attractions.

PET POLICY
Dogs of all breeds are welcome at no additional charge. Dogs must be kept off of beds and any soft furnishings, and guests are required to clean up after their pets. All dogs must be well behaved and must not be allowed to bark excessively or bother other guests. Dogs may not be aggressive towards children or other pets and should be kept on a leash if necessary. Guests are responsible for their pets and will be held liable for any damages.
We allow a maximum 2 pets for Couples’ Cottages and maximum 4 pets for all other cottages.
