The dam provides an angler's paradise, abundant with carp, bass, and barbel, offering serene waters ideal for water sports enthusiasts.
The Boathouse boasts well-appointed accommodations featuring modern amenities and elegant décor, ensuring a haven of refined comfort. From cozy rooms overlooking the picturesque lake to spacious suites, each living space exudes tranquility and relaxation. The residence comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lounge areas, a dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The first lounge area boasts a sleeper couch and scenic water vistas, while the second lounge offers comfortable seating and a TV. The dining area accommodates eight guests and leads to the well-equipped kitchen, complete with essential appliances and utensils for a seamless stay. Additionally, a private balcony upstairs and a spacious patio with a Weber braai and a ten-seater table offer ideal settings for alfresco dining and relaxation. Guests can also enjoy direct access to the water, with a fire pit and lapa available for their use.
Guests can bring their own boats and make use of the communal slipway to launch and moor in the secluded little harbour to safely secure their boats.

PET POLICY
We happily accommodate up to four dogs of any size and breed per booking, provided they are socialised and neutered. As a pet-friendly establishment, we kindly remind guests to ensure their pets are friendly with other animals and children on the premises. Please note that The Boathouse is not individually fenced, and other guests may also have their pets with them. We recommend owners bring pet beds, as they are not provided onsite.
