PET POLICY

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the Hluhluwe Luxury Family Tent, with a limit of three small dogs or two large dogs per stay. While there’s no individual fencing around each tent, the entire luxury tent area is enclosed for general safety. Guests are asked to bring their own pet bedding, as dogs are not allowed on the beds. If you’re heading into the park, your dogs may be left alone in the tent provided they don’t bark or disturb other guests—crate-trained dogs are ideal. There are no resident dogs on the property, so if no other guests bring pets, your dogs will have the area to themselves. Dogs must be leashed on the walking trail, which passes through a non-predator game area, but they may roam off-lead on the mountain bike trail, a scenic 6km loop. Please remember to pick up after your dog and respect the shared nature of this peaceful environment.
