Pet-Friendly Accommodation Features
The lodge offers three bedrooms, all located upstairs and fitted with electric blankets. The two queen bedrooms each sleep two adults, with the main bedroom including an additional single bed. The third bedroom is ideal for children and can sleep up to four, with a bunk bed and a queen-size bed. All bedrooms include ceiling fans and hairdryers.
Downstairs features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area, along with a guest toilet and direct access to outdoor areas. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and the lodge includes board games, children’s toys, and a DVD/Blu-ray movie collection.
Outdoor Features
The lodge overlooks the Mavela Dam and offers direct access to the water. A wood-fired outdoor hot tub is available at an additional setup fee of R250, which includes one large bag of firewood. The tub fits 4–6 guests, operates off-grid, and is cleaned and refilled before each stay. Guests are encouraged to request setup in advance, as heating takes 6–8 hours.
An outdoor firepit and braai area are available, with a complimentary bundle of firewood provided daily for the indoor fireplace. Additional wood can be purchased on the farm.
On-Site Pet Activities
Dogs can move freely within the fully fenced garden, which extends down to the dam, preventing escape. Dogs may swim in the dam under supervision. Guests can also make use of walking areas around the farm, but dogs must remain on lead outside the fenced garden due to livestock on the property.

Livestock is present on the farm, and dogs must be kept on lead outside the fenced garden.
